When you send a Word document, a different Office version or a missing font on the other end can shift your layout. PDF fixes this: the document looks identical for everyone. Here's how to convert Word to PDF without breaking formatting.
Why convert Word to PDF?
- Locks the layout: fonts, tables and spacing look the same everywhere.
- Opens on any device: phone, tablet, computer — no special software.
- Can't be edited by accident: safe for proposals, contracts and CVs.
- Official submissions usually require PDF.
Step by step
- Upload the document: Drag your .doc, .docx, .odt or .rtf file into the Word to PDF tool.
- Convert: The document is processed on the server and converted to PDF with layout, fonts and tables preserved.
- Preview and download: Check the result and download the PDF. The page structure matches your original document.

Tips for preserving formatting
If your document uses standard fonts (Arial, Times New Roman, Calibri), the output will be closest to the original. Very custom, non-installed fonts may render differently on some systems.
