Printing a contract, signing it by hand and scanning it back is slow and lossy. Signing the PDF directly is far faster and cleaner. Here's how to do it without your file leaving your device and without an account.
Electronic signature vs. qualified e-signature
In everyday use, "signing a PDF" means placing your signature image on the document — enough for most contracts, quotes, rental forms and letters. A qualified electronic signature (QES) required by some authorities needs a separate certificate/device. This tool provides the first kind: quick, visible signature placement.
Create your signature three ways
The Sign PDF tool lets you capture your signature by drawing with the mouse/finger, typing your name in a handwriting font, or uploading a signature image (transparent PNG works best).
- Draw: most natural with a finger on touch screens.
- Type: your name becomes a handwriting font.
- Upload: add your stamp/signature image.
Step by step: sign a PDF
- Open the PDF: Drag and drop or choose the contract or form to sign. The file opens in your browser.
- Create your signature: Click «Add signature» to draw, type or upload it. It's placed in the center of the page as soon as it's created.
- Place and adjust: Drag it where you want, resize from the corner, rotate with the top handle, and adjust opacity if needed. You can also add a date or text.
- Apply and download: For multi-page files use «Apply to all pages» to copy it to the same spot, then click «Apply & download». Your signed PDF is ready.
Your signature and file are NOT uploaded — signing happens entirely in your browser (on your device), so you can sign confidential documents safely.

Put the same signature on every page
Multi-page contracts often need a signature on each page. Place your signature once and click «Apply to all pages» to copy it to the same position across all pages. You can also use Ctrl+C / Ctrl+V to copy an item elsewhere.
Signature + date + text together
You can add a date and free text (e.g. "Read and approved") next to the signature, pick any text color, and position everything by dragging — all burned into the PDF in one pass.
