How do I fill a PDF form?

Does my file get uploaded?

Are accented characters preserved?
Yes. Field appearances are generated with a Unicode font, so characters outside the basic Latin set render correctly.
Can the filled fields be changed later?
Not if 'Lock after filling' is on: fields become permanent content. Leave it off to keep the form editable.
What if my PDF has no fillable fields?
Then it is a flat PDF. Use Edit PDF or Annotate PDF to write on top of it.
Are all PDF forms supported?
Standard PDF forms (AcroForm) are supported. Legacy Adobe LiveCycle (XFA) forms cannot be filled in a browser; the tool tells you when it sees one.
